Hello everyone,
My friend Jeanine has organized a yoga class in Wellington. It sounds like a fantastic class, here are all the details.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi all my triathlete and athletic friends!
I'm organizing a specialized yoga class primarily for triathletes and runners. However it will be great for any athletes!
Yoga makes a perfect companion for athletes of all sports as well as fitness enthusiasts. Yoga can help you develop a better breathing technique while it improves your balance, flexibility, core strength, and endurance.
The instructor will be Chris Christoff. Chris is a Kinesiology graduate of Michigan State University where he played football and wrestled. He is certified and insured through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a certified Yoga instructor
through AVA center for conscious living. He has studied Yoga,
meditation, and Ayurvedic medicine for 6 years and traveled to
southeast India the past two winters for study.
It will be held at the clubhouse in Olympia (441 and Forrest Hill Blvd.) in Wellington. We will also have use a room for babysitting.
I will bring a babysitter with me for my kids and whoever else needs one.
The day/time is Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM so that people who
work full-time will still be able to make it...please let me know if
you are interested and if this time would work for you.
You will need a small towel, yoga mat, and water.
Oh, and it will probably be $10/class, maybe less (I will work on
it when we get a final number of how many people want to come) and it
will be a 75 minute class.
email me or message me on Facebook if you have any questions.
Thanks!!! I'm so excited about this! I think yoga will really
help me achieve my goals this year and keep me injury free and I want
the same for all of you!!
Jeanine
