The Bike Diva is pleased to announce that she is a Trigger Point Therapy affiliate. Here's a press release on Trigger Points latest product, The Grid foam roller.
Take care,
Lynn Smythe AKA the Bike Diva
Just
as a massage therapist uses different parts of the hand and arm to
manipulate different muscle groups, The Grid's Distrodensity Foam Zones
enable you to apply varying amounts of pressure to help massage and
release tight muscles.
Check out the three unique Distrodensity Zones:
Palm
Distrodensity: The first and largest zone is the "Low and Flat" zone.
This zone is designed to feel like a forearm or palm by providing a
more general massage to individual muscles.
Tubular
Distrodensity: The second and intermediate zone is the "Medium and
Tubular" zone. The finger-like tubular areas will bring more
specificity and intensity as they roll through the muscle.
Fingertip
Density: The third and final zone is our "High and Firm" zone. The
precision grid Matrix is intended to feel like an individual's
fingertips and is designed for very tight and sensitive muscle groups.
The
Grid is also a "green" product- It features a durable EVA foam that is
designed to withstand heavy, repeated use without breaking down. It
holds up to an incredible amount of weight and pressure while retaining
its shape and form. It features a hollow core and uses less foam than
traditional foam rollers.
The
Grid is portable and durable- There is no need to lug around or store
a big chunk of foam; we've engineered The Grid to provide the perfect
blend of portability and size. Despite its lightweight, portable
nature, The Grid is tough- it can support more than 500 lbs of weight. Try that with your traditional foam roller!
The
Grid is versatile- Sure you can use The Grid to experience a myofascial
release masssage, but you can also incorporate The Grid into your daily
workout routine. We've designed an incredible core workout arond The
Grid; use The Grid to intensify everything from your push-ups and
sit-ups to your bicycles and other stability-based exercises. You will
be blown away by the versatility and effectiveness of this amazing tool.
